1354 rebuilt and leaking?

Hey I just rebuilt my 1354 transfer case, I ran it low on fluid and it broke the Aluminum range fork.:icon_thumby: So i pulled it out and cleaned the crap out of everything, Put new seals and range fork in and put it back together. After I installed it and filled it with fluid on level ground to just below the fill plug. It is leaking a little bit of fluid on the transmission/T-case seal where there is a cut out drain hole. The amount of fluid is not a whole lot but if i drive it and park within 30min it will have a 3" spot on the ground.

So my question is could it just be overflow coming out of that drain hole? Or something else? or maybe just paranoid?:dunno: Not really looking forward to bench pressing the case in/out again.

Thanks!

If its leaking between the t-case and transmission tailhousing, you need to drop the case and replace the gasket/ use RTV to seal it. Its the transmission that's leaking, so watch yer fluid level. Auto's don't like to be run low.
