Hey I just rebuilt my 1354 transfer case, I ran it low on fluid and it broke the Aluminum range fork.
So i pulled it out and cleaned the crap out of everything, Put new seals and range fork in and put it back together. After I installed it and filled it with fluid on level ground to just below the fill plug. It is leaking a little bit of fluid on the transmission/T-case seal where there is a cut out drain hole. The amount of fluid is not a whole lot but if i drive it and park within 30min it will have a 3" spot on the ground.
So my question is could it just be overflow coming out of that drain hole? Or something else? or maybe just paranoid?
Not really looking forward to bench pressing the case in/out again.
Thanks!
