Hey, I've seen some good looking 40+ year olds. I was really being a wise ass though because I haven't a clue what that intake is from. But who cares you have a woman in the same shot as an engine mid assembly. That in and of it's self is hot (as long as she's not 300+ lbs, and she sure doesn't appear to be).

I am interested in seeing the outcome of this economy build though. Somewhere down the line I'll be replacing a 2.8 with a 5.0 myself. Mine won't be an economy build, only thing economy about it will be the fuel injection.

OK . . another hint . . . its a stock Ford intake from???????????????

as for economy . I still have the stock 3.45s. Certainly with the V8, I don't need them. So a plan to swap front and rear gears may be in the future.

shame on him? shame on her for looking that good at 45 years old!

Thank you!

I don't know anything about gearing. That's probably going to be the hardest part of my interior build

Well...........

Well yes, you made a good guesstimation. Roller rockers is a good way to remove some internal friction and why not the extra lift??? Plus, easier on the vales and guides.
OK, so I'll give you a fighting chance on the intake, here's an updated pic. Where is this intake from? Now we'll see how much of a Ford guy you guy(s) are :headbang:

I must not be much of a Ford guy because I don't see an intake.
=============================
I past 45 a few years ago.............and my Wife will tell ya, that if it ain't got an engine or t*ts, it don't interest me:icon_twisted:

Now as to the pic, other than the nice scenary, I see either a 70's model Camaro or Firebird, & looks to be a Muncie or Saginaw in the background.... so I'll assume your interest isn't totally blue oval?................

Pete's Ponies Mustang RUSToration & Performance . . and you ask me that?? I mean I like lots of cars, but have personally owned over 100 Mustangs ( 5 now and have had these for way longer than I want to say ) total vehicles in the corral now is at 17 . . . I have one Trans Am , and I'm not loyal? Yikes! Certainly not a muncie, its a '68 C4, so you missed that. As for the intake, nope no smogger, its a hipo manifold. Look at the pad rise.

255 Fairmont/Zephyr?

Pete

Wow, thats a good guess, the 255. But that lame version has about nothing that swaps to the "real" small block . . not even sure if an intake from that wouldn't have something strange about it why it wouldn't fit ??? Ford's lower moments there, the 255. But nope . . but the one I used, its a one year manifold though; there's another hint.

i, along with what i assume is a great number of people, have grown completely bored of this game, and would like to see more pictures of good looking 45 years olds, and/or motors being built/installed

Then don't post Weez, I'm not here for your entertainment obviously. Then don't bother with me, OK? And if no one else cars, it will go away. If someone does like to have their mind stimulated and show their Ford prowness, then they are welcome to guess. I like the game, but I'm not your Patsy Weez , get it?

Well, I have an inquiring mind. Pete, you must have quite a collection of some of the odd ball stuff. I sure can't remember that manifold. Oh, that 45 year old is young enough to be my daughter.
Dave of the Nord

Hell of a guess. I had to do some internet searching but I found it. The boss is back was the real clue. I wonder how many remember that campaign?:icon_thumby:
