'10 Transmission specs?

Just a couple of generic questions. Does anyone know what model automatic transmission is in the '10 Ranger? I know its a 5-speed with lockup torque converter (maybe a 5r55e or 5r44e?), but I've heard its a derivative of the Bordeaux A4LD. If so, is it likely to have any of the problems known to that particular model? I'm not a big fan of automatics in general, but couldn't get the options I wanted with a manual. I just want to be prepared come what may.

They are all based on the A4LD.

The '10 and '11 models still use the 5r55 and 5r44E's
