1. Any post 60's Camaro
2. 70's-mid 90's Corvettes
3. 90's Firebirds
4. Dodge Neons (especially SRT-4's. It's a freakin neon. Stop trying to act cool)
5. Any FWD car that has more than 300 horse to the wheels. Seriously? Soooo stupid.

I rather liked my SRT-4...... ate mustangs and camaros for breakfast....

Why the Escort hate? 45mpg vs a "noisy" interior sounds like a deal to me. And the past few we've owned have been pretty quiet inside.

I could get a diesel VW and have better mileage AND a quiet, comfortable interior. The Escort is cheaper, but I don't work hard to buy the cheapest thing I can.

I wouldn't work too hard for the thrill of a VW diesel.

For a cheap dd beater, an Escort is hard to beat. VW's of the same age are in roughly the same condition or worse... if they are even still on the road.

My brother has a '68 Bug, it is all painted up pretty fire engine red, it is a really nice looking/driving car. It gets about the same milage as a diesel, but you wanna talk about some interior noise... the 4" speaker in the dash doesn't have a hope driving down the highway.

1) any car with neon (Civics & Scions especially)
2) any huge SUV owned by a mom that only ever has one other person in the car
3) Chrysler 300
4) the huge trucks with the 40+ inch tires that are show trucks
5) anything with 22 inch or bigger rims. including the ones that have 2 big ass chrome rims and the 2 other ones are stock

Saturns compete with escorts and they are quieter. I averaged 41 mpg on the freeway from my '93 SL2... Teffies 2001 SL1 averaged 47 mpg on the freeway

Who said thrill? Thrills and fuel economy are almost never together. Unless we talk motorcycles.

1) any Mustang 2 (for god's sake its a pinto, get over it)
2) any S10 or S10 blazer or GM clone
3) any Camaro built between 1970 and 1981 (extcept the 78-81 Z28)
4) PT cruiser
5) any FS pick-up or SUV that is not fuel injected or has an engine smaller that a 5.4L

I am adding a 6th...... any sportscar (muscle car, hotrod, or anyhting else meant to go fast) with an automatic.

Mustang II
AMC Pacer
Chevy Citation
AMC Gremlin
AMC Matador

I was being sarcastic about the ease of maintenance (or lack thereof) on those cars.

2 - Trucks dropped so low they have to cut holes in the bed.

I agree with you, but I half to beg the differ on this truck.

Dollar for dollar, your Ranger wouldn't touch that car. But it's all about opinion. What is gay to you, is fast and agile to another.

Every person that I have met that drives that car is a d-bag. They think they are the fast and the furious and that their cars are the best thing around. Besides all that, the car has no style (the old ones). I had one of my friends try to put his "modded" civic against my Ranger. I was like "moron, it's a 4 cylinder truck against a car that has been modded, NO". Unlike him, the only money that goes into my truck is what is actually needed (which so far has only been spark plugs and timing belt). He has blown an engine and has spent over a grand on bolt ons.

I'd rather drive a Contour over a old civic. I drove a contour up to 95 mph and the thing handled smoothly.

VW's are great first owner cars. I would never buy a used one. The price of the parts and headaches associated with working on them would drive me to drink. German cars drive me nuts.

my list is short and sweet..
1. any car i will never be able to own i hate.
2. and car with a fat chick trying to be hot in it.

lets just say there are a lot of cars I hate............
