As stupid as it sounds, I didn't even realize it had back doors till a couple days ago lol. never dawned on my to look. Every ext cab ranger I have had was a 1st gen :sonicjay: So now I need to figure if I want the exo to allow the rear doors to open or just pretty much keep them permanently closed.

leave em open....park sideways in a stream & wash the mudd outta the cab....

Are the front fenders going to get in the way of a full articulation? Looks good and you suck for having the 4 doors j/k I would make it where you can open them still

i gotta feeling those fenders wont be like that for long

 Are u going to pinch the front end?

No pinch, actually my up travel sucks so the fenders may or may not make contact. I still have to flex it out to verify.

The one I got is fiberglass and says RouschCharged on it. Was curious if it was an OE hood with a sticker or an aftermarket Fiberglass.

Good deal John. We'll be staying at the Attica Family Campground.

I see you are running coils again, I might have missed this in a previous thread, but why the change? I know you've run coils and leaves in a variety of different trucks, and thought you preferred leaves. I like it though!

I changed it up for approach angle. I ditched the leaves a while ago. Looks like we are staying at the same campground in the "Rustic" area.

lol how the hell can they say they have different "areas"?

"Would you like the flat grassy site with no trees, or the flat grassy site with no trees?"

"I'll take the flat grassy site with no trees, thanks :D."

I talked to a club member the other day that's reserving sites, I told him to put me down for friday and saturday night :icon_thumby:

About the 4 door. That's pretty badass really. How often do you plan to be back there? Where are you keeping your tools/spare parts? Structurally it'd be best to build the exo so its permanently shut, but if you need to get in there quite a bit, you may be able to design around it.

How far off the body would a single vertical support need to be in order to allow both the front and rear doors to open? If you could bend the tube to match the profile of the edge of the door, it may not have to be that far out. May be something to look in to anyways.

Edit: got to thinking and did some rough calcs. Say you're using 1.75" tube, and your door is 36" long (just guessed). If the tube is centered over the front door/rear door joint, the edge of the door would have to swing over, I said 1" in my calcs, to clear the tube. For it to swing that much, the door needs to open ~13.5*, and with a 36" long door open 13.5*, that puts the tube ~8.5" away from your door.

Of course if your door is actually shorter than 36", it would be less. Or if you're using smaller tube it would be less. And it will actually be a little less since I used 1" instead of .875" (1.75/2). Either way, that's pretty far. Hmmm....
