The Dana 44 runs the same joint too. I ran 38's with that joint and spicers with chromo shafts, knowing how I drive, I only ever had one joint failure....just sayin'
And on a side note, the solid spicers are probably the best, cheap u joint there is, but the caps suck. I had to replace my joints after a few runs because of the caps.
yea for sure man, you shouldn't have a problem. I haven't seen a joint itself break anyways, its usually the ears of the shafts that get wrecked. Those circlips will make all the difference. Get it done and get us some wheeling pics
Two things, used my welder for the first time. It was well worth the money, very high quality, super smooth and tons of power.
Secondly I am going racing again, the USA 500 for the second year. Our goal is to finish this year, I will be driving the prerunner down and will most likely be chasing and pitting I may co-drive again too. I'll make sure to bring the camera.
Well already posted pics in another thread but why not here
Its actually just a ranger cab on a fullsize frame. It has a 351w, some auto and a twinsticked tcase (probably 205). There is some really hacked stuff on it but for the price he is selling it for it is a bargain. And fyi the shop owner didn't build it, he only build quality...
I leave in about 2 hrs to drive to Reno to co-drive and chase and pit for 707 (All Fired Up Racing) 7s truck at the USA 500. Wish us luck, we are going for the win in our class. I'll bring the camera!
I'm fine just really sore, I don't have any pics after the roll. That would have been more salt in the wound. But he is parting it out.... Ill post some pics in a bit
