I just finished installing the Morana 1.8 rockers. They came in a Harland Sharp vacuum sealed package. Just bolt on an go. It is very quiet and smooth and seems to make the most power after 4000 rpm. I torqued them down to 24 ft/lbs in no specific order and did not even turn the crank like some people say they do. These were the instructions Tom Morana gave me and it works just fine. No locktite is needed, you can but I didn't use any. I did soak them in STP as a pre assembly lube and changed the push rods since they are so cheap.

hey if your in winnipeg canada man you should take out your truck next sunday night for early cruise night? and we can meet up at tims on main.

:worthless: (Or a dyno sheet) lol. But seriously,

How do you like them?

Have you had a chance to check your gas mileage yet? I'm curious if it changed or not.

Like the man said... It "SEEMS" to have helped above four grand.. What all did you'ns expect? The stock lifters take care of normal driving. The high lift ones will do what the stock ones do and then when they aren't open wide enough for hi speed the tall ones will add some mixture to the cylinders.. But just where most of us drive..no change.

Do you actually think the tall ones would have cost Ford more than the stock ones? If they helped at normal speeds they would already be in all our rides.

Well maybe "seems" isnt the word. It "does" make more power after 4K. It pulls more and it gets really throaty after 4k. Also being so smooth and quiet taking it to the rev limit doesnt make it sound like its going to explode. Overall i'm very happy in the changes in engine feel and performance. As for MPG i'm having too much fun to let off the gas so i'm sure that won't help. I just need to find time to install my No-slip and ill be able to swing her out again. My old powertrax died this winter.
