1.8 Roller Rocker Question

I know I've heard many people recommend the 1.7 roller rockers before, but I've contacted Tom Morana and he no longer carries the 1.7 roller rockers, they've since been replaced with 1.8s.

My question to everyone is whether this will create any problems due to the increased ratio. I do not want a sloppy or an unreliable engine. I'm simply looking for the slight performance, the smoothness, and the quietness. If this thing does more bad than good I doubt I'll get them.

Has anyone already ran the 1.8s and noticed anything? I'm just afraid that is TOO much valve lift, meaning rough idle, and less durability down the line.

I have a some waiting to be installed with the rest of my engine mods when funds allow. Tom assured me that the truck should run smooth with them and have no piston slap.
