looking at that front hoop...looks like it will be rather Jeep-ish....

Yeah wish I could have made some ranger sheet metal work but I'm not that good. Went with the simple basic shape of a Jeep like Railman said. Fine tuned it a little tonight by dropping the cowl down 4 1/2 inches.

Is it just me or does the roof look really high?

I think its an optical illusion, his hood line is almost elbow high, judging by the seat...

Yeah it looks that way to me too. Hopefully when it is sitting level and the sides are on it will look right. But even the way it sits now the highest point is only 78 1/2 inches, that's pretty low for 39.5's.
