1/2 Ton Buggy Build

You'll be ready by the end of the year at this rate.
Not working like I did today. Spent all morning with a tape trying to figure out where the seat and pedals are going to go. This afternoon I got around to cutting some tube main part of the body is going to be 58" wide.

Trying to come up with a better plan for the tubing that will fit around what what I already have and not look stupid. I've changed the plan so many times I forgot what I was originally going to do, but should have something for you this weekend.

Also decided on some different colors for the frame and seats. I know more changes.

Truck change = good.
Obama change = bad.

Yeah it was nice back in 2008 when you could get 20k off on a new truck, and they were shutting all the plants down. Obama f'ed that up.

Lets get W. back in there. Where's he at anyway :icon_confused:

Or 09' when 1000's of business closed, my emplorer went from 14 employees to 5. That was W's fault too i suppose?
/rant.

I say cut the frame off right in front of the steering box.....mount the radiator in the rear....winch can go beside the steering box...

looking good.....

Can't because the pitman arm sticks out several inches past the front of the box or I would.
Also wanted a tube weld to the frame in front of the steering box to protect the box itself.

Got the basic shape of the rear done. It will eventually be rapped in 0.100" black plastic. And the tube between the uprights in the back will probably get cut out for easier loading and unloading of the propane tanks.
