Everywhere I look for 08 blocks I get "fits" 86-97.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLF-1197/All/ Also say they wont ship till December...?

Is there any difference from the 97 rear blocks to the 2008? If there is what should I look for then?

Can anyone point in the direction where there sold, I need a 2.5 inch block kit, And I cant seem to find it. :dunno:

Figured it would be simple to find a set of blocks for it...apparently I'm missing something.

Are you replacing your stock block or are you planning on stacking it ontop of it?

I plan on replacing the stock 1.5 inch on the 08 to a 2.5 like the the 07s and under.

I cranked the t bars about an inch, and it has that dragging ass look with any slight load in the back.

I Have a pro-comp AAL but I think it will be to much of a lift for what im looking to do.

I have a stock set of blocks off my 2000 that I can sell you.

Is there any difference between the 97 and 07 block set up?

I called ford and a local parts store, no blocks, and no u-bolts.

Still cant find any that say they fit on 98+ online.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok scrap the blocks, Belltech 6400 shackles sound more what I'm looking for.

Anyone have problems with the shackles/leafs clearing the exhaust on the passenger side or its all good?

It's all good.

The Belltech 6400's: Leaf in the bottom most hole will get you about 1.5" lift. Second to the bottom hole will get you about 3/4" lift. You can use the bottom 2 sets of holes on the shackle to bolt the leaf to....nice to have options.

Although I will say it's really quite odd you've got a saggy rear...are you overloading the bed? I only find it odd because 08+ trucks have lowering torsion keys and those 1.5" blocks...and have a pretty big rake from the factory. If you're looking at something to help with the load in the bed or tongue weight on the trailer, I'd be looking into helper bags.

The block setup is the same on all Rangers. Only the u-bolt length is different according to how tall the block is.

Its not that its sagging, its leveled with the front (t-bar crank) I just have the tool box in the back full of shit. The rear does measure higher the front by about a 1/2 inch.

I Just want that extra 1 inch 1.5 inch because when I throw camping equipment in the back, the level truck now goes to dragging its ass.

And you've helped me out alot in the past already fx4wannabe, appreciate it. I know I Should convert the front keys over to the 07s and I end up putting the #1 t bars in. but I really don't feel like taking the front end of the truck apart yet. Snowball effect..ya know?

instead of new shackels you could always throw on some new leaf springs and that way it wont drag around the rear when you load it down

Ended up going with the shackles. Showed up at my door Friday, and were put in the truck this morning. They actually installed easier then I thought, Except for the trailer hitch being. exact amount of lift i was looking for and for cheap and easy.

Thanks everyone with the pms, and help. Much appreciated. And thanks to TRS for the tech write up.
