08 ranger no heat

all of a sudden my heater blows only cold air. AC works fine, fans work fine
but no heat. should I check the coolant?

Yeah chekc the coolent. An air bubble may have gotten in the heater core. If your coolent is low I would top it off and top off the resevior.

Is motor comin up to temp?

If not, then its probably the thermostat (BPN# 8575), as they are designed to stick open when they go bad so you don't burn up your engine.

If yes, then its probably the blend door actuator (BPN# 19e616).
