08 FX4 Slave cyl whining

i have an 08 fx4, 4.0l, 5 spd. the clutch whines when i let it out in first and reverse, does it in both 4x4 and 2 wheel. from what i can see the slave cyl/throwout bearing is a common failure item. does anybody know what kind of damage i can do, if any, if i dont fix this right away. my concern is that it is very inconsistant at this point and doesnt do it all the time, so when i take it to ford (its under warranty still, only 24000kms) and it doesnt do it, ill have to drive with it like that until it will do it all the time before i can bother taking it in again. any comments would be helpful.

I had the same thing on my 07 level 2....

I brought it to the dealer and with the engine off he press on the clutch while an other one was earing uderneat...and it was noisy craking...

so he said it was waranty so they change clutch pressure plate slave and bearing...

he also said that it might do it again lol...but that it was supose to not be armful...but you should get a new clutch before your 3 years waranty is out
