08' front diff housing in 99'

hi i found a 2008 ranger front diff and i was wondering if it would fit directly in my 1999 ranger

Should be pretty much the same.

If you can, lay them next to each other on the ground before buying it, just to be sure.

yeah that would of been the easy way..! but its at 2 h ride from home and i gotta go get it with the truck... thats why i was wondering if anyone knows by hart that it fits or not.. thanks
