07 Ranger instrument cluster

my speedometer and tach will stop working while driving then it may or may not go back to working. If I turn the truck off while it is not working it will not start back and the security light flashes. If I leave it setting sooner or later it will start back to working. We have changed the instrument cluster and it did not fix it. Any ideas of where to look next? Thanks

Also when the instruments stop working the check engine light will come on
