07 PA 3inch BL will fit on 09FX4?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 07 Body Lift kit from Preformance Accessories will fit on an 09? I bought the lift kit yesterday and I'm gonna try to put it on tomorrow. Any info would greatly be appreciated and would help tons thanks

There were no changes to speak of between '07 and '09...

Yes....any 98+ kit will work on any 98+...little differences in fuel neck filler and vent sizes though. But those problems are cured via a trip to Home Depot.


I bodylift an '08 and needed to make that trip. I used all donated, pieced together kit from 98+ bodylift kits.

Thanks guys, did some research, i might have to fabricate the front bumper brackets and the fuel neck filler extension actually came with the kit. I guess its the newer kit with the proper tools. I'm gonna give it a try today wish me luck! haha I'll post pics as soon as its done! Can't wait to put the 33' pro comp extreme MT's on!

i have contacted PA, and they said they have a 09 in the shop right now, and expect a kit to be available in the new year.

They've got virtually nothing to change at all! lol. Add a couple blocks and bolts for the bed in 09+ trucks, fuel filler and vent size change. BAM! Done! lol. Quite literally, that's all that's different. What they need to worry about is not '09, they gotta worry about 2010 with all those new safety features. Slap the 'different' parts into the 01-05 kit to cover 01-09 and call it good.



Some time has passed since this thread was active..... 09+ Ranger short boxes have 10 bolts instead of the normal 6 in 08 and older models. Kits come with 14 bolts and blocks(6 for cab, 6 for short bed/8 for long bed). 09 guys would need an additional 2 blocks and bolts for the short bed. IDK how many bolts on on 09 longbeds. Additional bolts and blocks can be purchased straight from PA for about $3 a block and about the same per bolt and washer.
