Gentlemen;
I replaced my stock 197 degree thermostat with a 160 degree thermostat. Will that goof up my emissions system?

Well, not exactly. but yes. It will set a code for coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp. It will also cause it not to go into closed loop, and get worse fuel economy. I usually take my 195's and put an 1/8 hole in them with a drill bit and it cools it down just a smudge.
