06 4.0 dogging it

I have a 2006 Sport 4.0 V6 with only 40,000 miles and it seems like it could have more power. I've had the pedal to the floor, on the expressway, and it's like I'm waking up a teenager for school. It runs smooth and achieves normal MPG. Any easy swap outs to help with this? I bought it with a K&N filter (just the filter not the whole setup) already in it but was thinking of adding on the entire air raid system. Any pointers help.

I wouldn't spend the money on the k&n, from my experience these trucks don't like them, also they won't provide any performance boost. Are you running stock gears/tires? Clean the MAF if it has one, new sparks/wires
