06 2wd xlt, leveling and tires?

Hey guys, I'm looking to level out the front end on my 06 2wd xlt and as of right now the rear is about 3 inch's higher than the front. I was hoping to fit some 31" tires after the front is level, do you think this is possible? And what coil spacers would you guys recommend.

it can be possible, a 2" coil spacer will do. as brands i cant recommend one. they all seem to be good and durable.

I got some Doetsch coil spacers. They were about $85 shipped and work really well. I haven't bothered to get it aligned yet but I need to. I have 235/75's, Which are like 29's, and could fit 31's no problem.

did you use 2" spacers? i cant seem to find coil spacers for my exact model and year, 06 2wd xlt...suggestions?

The spacers listed for the older years should work. As I know of, they did not change the suspension to this day.

Look for spacers for 98+ suspensions. And I think summit racing has some. But mine are Doetsch industries, and their website offers a level kit that includes shocks and spacers for like $215 but just call and they'll send you spacers only for like $85 so you can pick your own shocks.

cool! I'm gonna call Doetsch tomorrow and order the 98-2000 2" coil spacers. Is there anything else I will need?

If you're installing them yourself, you need a couple hours, wd-40, patience, a hammer, and spring compressors lol. You can rent a set from the parts store usually
