Ok. I am tossing around lowering my truck, 05 5.0 AWD ext cab Edge. What are my options here?

bout 1-2 inches

So not worth doing then?

dont know....if your pavement racing it may be a huge difference

Its primary duty is pavement but I hunt as well.

stock torsion keys can go around 1-2 inches iirc, i've heard of lowerin keys for them. except this is with the edge suspension i don't know how low you can go without running into binding issues with the cv's maybe?

i've seen a near 4-5 drop on an edge i just cant remember how they did it though

Hunting and lowered truck dont belong in the same sentence. You were going AWD due to problems with 2wd hunting.

An edge can go pretty low compared to stock, problem you will encounter is with the CV axles. You might be able to take it down as far as a stock height 2wd coil spring truck, but I wouldn't count on that.

I may bag it. I have a buddy that has had several bagged trucks plus the cover of mini trucks, twice.

If you want it for hunting don't lower it, bag it, put too much money into it. You sound like you want to have a pretty truck but want it to go offroad...look around generally it's either one or the other...if you out that kind of money into it and take it hunting or offroading your setting yourself up for heartbreak.... Just saying
