this is a picture from under my explorer as u can see the crank pulley came apart. has anyone seen this before?

one question i have is will a pulley from an older 4.0 ohv work in its place?
i only ask because i have one of these motors sitting around. and i need this thing running i have three kids and its the only way to get them anywhere

Not sure about fitment but I have seen a few baalnacers come apart over the years. The outer ring is just pressed onto the inner hub with a rubber peice in between them.

I checked advance auto parts they get 160 for it but have to order it here locally in Harrisburg. Rock auto has them for 91 for 25 they can have it to you next business day wich I think would be your best bet.

I compared the part to my 97 4.0 and they do not seem to be the same part or interchangable.
 
Your 05 has the SOHC engine. What years are the other motors you have? If it is a OHV motor then no it will not work. Post up some years and we'll go from there.

EDIT

If the other motors that you have are SOHC and 2001 and up then yes they will work.
