ok guys i know this is a common issue with these trucks and its normal.. well i cannot accept that and i will not.. i use my truck as a truck and would like to get up to oem or 1-2" lift and not just swap sides to level out. its also almost a 3" difference from side to side. The problem is where can i get new springs?? its a 2005 2wd with coils.. and im not looking to add spacers i would like to fix the worn out spring first. here is a picture to show my lean

Thats a lot of gangster lean. Call a dealership and they should be able to get you new ones.

so is that really bad as far as the lean goes?? like more than normal?

I just put new coils on my '89 Ranger....and it sits within 1/2 of level....

I could probably rotate one (or both) of the coil springs to get the truck level in the front....then weld a nut to the upper coil mount next to the end of each coil to keep it from "creeping" around & changing positions....

3 inch difference is big. I got a half inch or near difference in my explorer after cranking t-bars... God if I had coils where my truck would be now... I just wanna stick my T-bar up someone's.... Ya...

well from what i can find there is no 2" lift springs.. but im not out of hope yet.. i called up the stealership today and the oem coils are going to run me 105$ a piece.. so before i go through the pains of buying new ones im going to look a little harder for a passenger side coid out of a wrecked truck.. salvage yards here are few and most will only export..

Looks like one is flat out broke. The dealership is gonna be pricey, but you are getting oem parts. They will be the best ride quality.

Mine leans the opposite way- full tank of gas, sits level, empty, acts like I have a bulldozer battery in it... That is why I posted asking about airbags for de front...

Springs sag. That is their nature over time. Does not matter if they are OEM or aftermarket. On a long enough timeline all springs sag. DO NOT get your replacement springs from a dealership. There are HUNDREDS of aftermarket places that will sell you a set for 100$. Good brands like Belltech or JDM. They will even powdercoat them. Some are blue, red, yellow, black...you name it. Don't despair, the springs can be replaced in a few hours for even a novice with a moderate tool collection. You will probably wanna change your ball joints while your there. Good luck!

well my problem is i dont want to lower it. ive dont countless hours of researching a small lift 1-2" (coils)and it just doest exist.. im still debating on if i want to keep the truck or keep it 2wd.. either way i choose its going to be expensive.. but for now i want to stop bottoming out while driving around town

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same problem on my 99 ranger sport extra cab XLT. I'm about to rebuild the whole front end. FT and Rear sway bars from Hillbank, 45.95 (most 2wd rangers don’t even have a rear sway bar). And a kit with 2 upper control arms, 2 lower and 2 upper ball joints, 2 outer and 2 inner tie rod ends, and 2 sway bar links from AC cars for 139.56. Throw in a set of front shocks and coils and you got a all new front end. But where do I get a set of stock ride height front coils cheep?? Someone has to know around here ??

skyjacker makes 2" lift coils. F150 coils will lift it about 2" as well.
With springs you've got more options than T-bar. Consider yourself lucky!
Check the tech library dude.

Check out the back springs for any cracks before laying it all on the fronts. My 90 Supercab had a lean and it was a cracked leaf spring making it happen.

Good Luck either way!
