I am interested in putting a Mustang T5 behind an older 4.0 with the 6 bolt flywheel. It's a ranger engine but no longer in a ranger.
I'm trying to figure out what combination of parts I will need. I know the engine will physically bolt to the bellhousing. The 6 bolt flywheel is considerably smaller than the Mustang flywheel. It also appears that the T5 uses a different spline count for the input shaft than what the M5OD uses. So do I need the ranger flywheel and pressureplate, but what about a clutch disk?
