Hi everyone, I FINALLY get to start building the truck I bought 8 years ago!! Im a first time poster but have been reading for months.. wont ask a lot of questions but any input will be greatly appreciated. Other than a front bumper and 33in tires its completly stock. Will post pictures soon!

Im goimg to try to hit the junkyard thnis weekend to get a ranger front clip unless anyone knows of a company that does glass work for the b2300...

what are your plans with your truck? is the suspension stock or a little lift?

Its stock, not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it seeing as I'm prob. not the guy the best guy for the job as seeing as I only know what I have picked up on the forums... I wanted to start welding last weekend but my welder had work out of state for a couple of Weeks. I'm going to order tubing for the bed and get an oversized set of leaf springs at least to start. I should have those on as long as my wife dissent ruin my weekend by giving birth...... (that was a joke if you couldn't tell). Want to do a long travel on the front with a ranger front clip to make it easier to mount the fiberglass, looking at kits just haven't pulled the trigger on one just yet.

have you seen the 64'' leaf swap from chevy half tons? there is a link in the tech section. I think that's what im going to do for the rear on mine. as far as glass fenders im trying to avoid laying down a lot of cash. my buddy is pretty good with fiberglass and thinks we can make a mold out of stock fenders and make them flare out. where have you been looking at fenders?

at first glance I didn't think you were kidding about your baby haha. but congrats! we just had ours two weeks ago. I want to try to fab something I can strap her car seat to so she can ride in the ranger

lol I was kidding, kinda...... Yes I plan on the Chevy leaf spring swap soon, baby is due Saturday so when I get a free moment between that, school and work.. for fenders I've been mostly looking on craigslist and other local adds, asking around and clicking just about every link you guys have posted up.. I know its backwards but I'm going to start with the rear seeing how it seems to be cheaper than the front. Also my welder seems to think he can fab a long travel Kit with no actual experience with it.... I'll give him a try. I'm going to do a bed cage and just bolt on my stock fenders, then weld a mount that I can secure a car seat to..

check out hanneman fiberglass. I found some for $160 each for a 4'' flare
