Hi all, Working on a 4x4 4.0 5 speed. Replaced the clutch, turned flywheel and need some info.

1.I don't see any marks on the flywheel or crank to clock the flywheel correctly. Does it matter?

2.What are the torque specs for the 8 bollt flywheel? I've found 20-25 ft-lbs and 55 ft-lbs. Anybody know. I've searched the forums on 3 sites with no luck. The Haynes and Chilton manuals have conflicting info. Thanks

Well if its the SOHC or the earlier OHV they are both 60 ft lbs. (Right out of the ford shop manuals)

The position of the flywheel does not matter, just use your typical cross torquing sequence.
