03 steering wheel replacement

Ok, I,ve changed or modified almost everything on the interior of my 03 edge, I've been wanting to replace my OEM steering wheel with an aftermarket one.

My only problem is that I cannot find an adapter kit for an 03 specific.

does anyone know of a certain kit or have a handy p/n I can look up? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The problem is the airbag, not many companies make them because of the liability of that.

When I got a Grant for my '85 (obviously no air bag) I noticed they had a couple late model vehicles, they were hidiously overpriced IMO for a steering wheel.

ya thats my whole thing. I blew my bags out when i went throught a mud hole that was very deep and very short so the whole front end dug and popped the bags. so i just want to find a replacement steering wheel with no bag. but if the conversion hub costs an arm and a leg I'll just go pull a good bag from the junkyard.

I dont have a bcm, pcm or any other modules in the truck other than the msd ignition module because I dropped a windsor in it and rewired the entire truck. so an airbag is pointless

You might grab a wheel off an older truck from a JY and see if it fits, if it does then get the kit for that wheel. They are pretty cheap there, $10 for a good one at my local yard.
