Hello, I was just reading some posts about a bad torque converter. I myself am not positive that it is the cause of my problem but I am running out of things to check/replace :P

My problem is when I am driving my 2003 Ford Ranger XL 2.3l with the 5R44E tranny when it shifts into OD, it has this bog feeling between 45 and 60 mph only. If I am below or above those speeds in OD its perfectly fine. If I take the tranny out of OD it will run perfectly fine at those speeds as well.

I have replaced the following: TPS, Fuel Filter, Plugs and wires, transmission filter & fluid, replaced air filter, and cleaned the MAF.

If you have any insight to this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
