i have a 01 ranger edge 2wd it has a 7.5 rear end with a 373 stock. the other day when i was climbing a hill the rear end mad a growling noiseon the driver side. but it only makes a growling noise when i have the driver side tire all the way up in the fender well. like a good suspinsion flex. im not sure what it is but it is killing me cause i cant climb steep hills for shit

You have a 2wd with an open diff, it doesn't even drive in the rain worth a shit...
It sounds like your tire is rubbing.

+1 sound like the tire is rubing.

rear end question

i know for a fact the tire is not rubbing cause i watch the tire and its not moving. it only make that noise when i have a good suspinsion flex. its weird. but i know its not tire spin? i cant figure it out.

Tires rubbing on the body or frame is what they are getting at, not spinning on the ground.
