i have a buddy that runs a car crushing yard and found a 98 windstar with a 130 amp alt and i snatched it for my ranger. i started to install the new/used alt the other day and found that they are different at the plugs. the windstar will bolt up to my engine and the same belt will work, but the windstar has one plug with 2 wires and the main charging stud. the ranger has 2 plugs, one is one wire and the other has 3 wires, along with the main charging stud. i have read all over where they are swappable but haven't found a wiring diagram to change the wires. any help would be great on finding a wiring diagram.
