Project SVT

True, but as stated the CJ took top priority and had to get finished ASAP...Which by the way the CJ is put back together, brakes done, fuel tank installed and wired. But I only had 2 gallons of fuel to put in it, and its not enough to get it started, so it won't be running til tomorrow. I've been too busy to post up pics, but I started tearing the 60 down, and got the inner C weld ground down, then Jay showed up with parts...The 60's wms to wms is 69.5", and the ranger is 59.25" (or close to it), so I've decided I'm going to narrow the 60 by 9.25 inches, makin my wms to wms exactly 60", a hair wider than the ranger, but still plenty narrow enough for TB trails...Stay tuned :icon_thumby:

how come you dont want to go at least fullwidth? or waggy. im just trying to wrap my head aroujnd what your building still lol. im guessing a rather large tire to clean the 60 diff. and id think you want some width to be stable.

wait.... arnt you doing a 609?

The trails out at TB won't allow for FW axles, that's the reason for narrowed axles...609's no longer in the budget, but are a future option. Right now They are staying 60 up front and 10.5 out back. Rear is getting a lincoln (since no one makes a spool for them), and the front is in search of an E-locker....

Yeah I kind of went out "patrolling" last night a reported a bunch of his posts.

Yeah, pisses me off that people do that...
On another note, got some fuel in the CJ, got it started and running, took it for a test drive, brakes work pretty good, I was able to lock up 3 of the 4 36's so I guess it passed the brake test. Just got done driving it to my buddy's house, no problems, and that project is DONE!!! :yahoo: On to the next...
