I just picked up this 1989 Bronco II for $500. It was a project that someone gave up on. It already had the top chopped. I traded two guns for it. It wouldn't run the fuel pump was the culprite. 0 rust picked it up in phoenix. Sorry northwest guys i have to cut it up. I just moved from northern michigan to arizona about two months ago and you would not believe the rust free vehicals here. Anyway this is the start of my $1500 build. Right now I have the two guns which I traded my ice fishing stuff for when I moved and I traded my bow for 4 36" tsls and 5 35" bfg mts and 4 33" truxas. I bought 5 jeep cherokee rims for $25 and traded my doors for a fuel pump at the junkyard. I want to know what you guys think. I just mounted my 36"s on the jeep rims and got them on with no lift just removed some body. I am going to dovetail the front and rear. my future plans include boatsiding, exocage, 3" body lift and 2" coil spacer. The jeep wheels don't have enough backspace so i am going to get spacers.
:dunno:

shit for 500 i would rock that if the engine and trans were really good. You planing on a dana 35 and 8.8 in the near future before you blow up the stock axles?:headbang: built is better than bought i say :icon_welder:

Don't worry I still have the rear quarters and fenders. They are going back on as soon as I am done doing the dovetail. As for the axles I am going to weld the spiders and run them untill they are done funds are really tight right know but when I change them this is the first ford I've owned with the ttb and I kind of like it so I am thinking 44ttb and 9" from a f-150 what you guys think?

For the cost of putting a TTB 44 in I would just go fullwidth solid dana 44 and 9 inch rear but thats just me. Looks like you are going to have a fun project anyways.:icon_thumby:

id love to see the 44ttb. go 9.75 rear! lol

ya that would be some fabrication involved , why not the d35 ttb with the d44 ttb knuckle swap? might be a option available for you.for 9's are the shit so ya that is a good plan for the rear.:icon_cheers: have fun with the truck and take plenty pics to let us see how the 36's and d28 and 7.5 do :)

I plan on running 38'S soon so I would like the bigger ring and pinion. The 28 and 7.5 will probly last one trip out here there are some big rocks out here in az

Looks good so far. Im in the middle of my build also. There are tons of rust free B2's for cheap here in AZ as you pointed out. The hard part is not buying them all up. Im in Tucson, when we get these done we should take em out. Lots of good trails here.

yea sure thing there are a ton of washes up here they look like a lot of fun. I am new to AZ so rocks are a new thing I am used to mud up in northern mich:icon_thumby:

Rocks and sand are very addicting :) but im sure so is mud :icon_hornsup:

I got the homemade body lift on it cost me 38.00 and I did the 2" spacer up front just got to adjust the camber tomarrow I will take some picks tomarrow and post them. Sorry for the delay I had to help my father in law pick up his new project. He got a 98 s-10 zr2 blazer with 95000 miles on a dana 60 and 70 with 35" mtrs with warn winch for $1200.
:icon_thumby:

that is a killer buy for 1200 , cheap wheeling is the best wheeling I say :headbang:
