An 07 FX4 might only have a 28 spline. Measure around the axle tubes to be sure. Ann FX4 Lvl2 would def have the 31 spline.

It should be on the build sheet if you have it. It should be on the rear cover as well for the ratio and if it is a 7.5 or 8.8 it says that as well). It also will be on the door jam. The level2 had the 31 spline.

Correct. An '07 FX4 will have a 28 spline 8.8" with a Ford limited-slip. An FX4 Level II will have a 31 spline 8.8" with a Torsen differential.
