I don't remember the Ranger Vague option. Must have been pretty non-descript....

illegal u turn(handbrake turn)
loud exhaust
turning on red light.
tinted windows were a cop magnet
and the last one:
ran over a cone and didnt attend to pull over and a patrol chased me down.

yeah i was a stupid kid back then

on the Ranger:
normal routine checking pull over at control points- because of tinted windows(i roll em down when theres a cheking point now)
warning for taking off instantly at a green light- cop told me to give it a few seconds because theres always some one speeding to cross on red. and with a truck this tall and with the brushguard i can easily ran over a bike

got a ticket for 61 in a 45.
My brother got pulled over more in my 86 than i did.

in my 86 he got:
pulled over 3 times for it being to loud.
2 for no passenger tail light.
1 for doing doughnuts in a parking lot.
(just thought i would add these because i thought it was funny that he got pulled over more in my truck then i did.)

my 84 B2:
improper placement of license plate.
no license plate lights twice.
broken pass tail light.
then once just so the officer could ask me if my snorkel actually worked.

my 89 B2:
once for speeding 49 in a 40.
once for no registration or insurance.

And out of all of them the only ticket i got was in my 86.

The way i see it they were just doing their job.

I sincerely thank you for that. I'm going into law enforcement and I hope that everyone I pull over or have to deal with is as understanding as you are.


To the topic: I've never been pulled over, CB radio helps with that, and knowing what the headlights of a Crown Vic look like also helps too. Also helps living in a county with a maximum of 5 officers on duty at a time.

i got pulled over on my golf cart and my racing mower when i was test riding it
the cop that pulled me over on the cart knew me and just said get off the dam road and keep it in the woods.(its lifted with mudders woot woot haha)

and the mower i was clocked going 45 in a 25mph zone in town(nice new long paved road haha) he asked what is it and how does it go so fast and got a warning

1st ranger, 91 4.0- speeding, reckless driving at the saliva concert (expunged ). blinkers out, license plate light out. only got 1 ticket in that truck though (reckless)

Big ranger- pulled over for too much lift (warning), tint, loud exhaust, burnout in the mall parking lot, blinker out, too much lift again. speeding, i told the cop it was physically impossible for the 2.9 to push the 35s faster than 60 in a 4 mile stretch. then 1 time for Bullsh** and he just wanted to search my truck, i told him no and was on my merry way. every one was just a warning.

week after I got my truck hit an accord, truck was fine but got a ticket

got a 50 in a 40(known speedtrap on the way to school, was being a dumbass)

80 in a 45, was doing 90 a little while before he caught me, he should have gotten the eclipse that passed me

Also recently got stopped on campus for driving this

on the sidewalks on campus. IDK what the problem was, we had headlights(flashlights) and it's electric...

Got a ticket the other day for parking the wrong direction. In front of my house. I live on a side street that dosnt see much traffic and i had to park up hill because of my main seal leak.
I was to lazy to park across the street and walk the extra 20 feet.

You always half to park with traffic here too otherwise a ticket will be waiting for ya. I got one for parking half in the road and half on side walk grass in front of my house when I had two rangers. I had one parallel parked and my neighbor parked to close in front of me for me to park my other truck in front of it, so i drove onto the sidewalk and parked diaginal in between both I had a ticket under the wiper the next morning.

Been pulled over once in the Ranger for no tails. Got a ticket with it from running over a Pontiac Sunfire, but didn't really get "pulled over". Cop did make fun of me for having my registration sticker on upside down though.


I really should have gotten in a lot of trouble when I was driving that Olds. I figured since it got horrible mileage if I went fast or if I went slow, I was gonna go fast.
