Follow my build link in my sig to see mine. Most people don't like the bush bar I added to it, but to each their own. I got it from a guy in Louisville KY for $580 shipped to my door.(just the bumper part)

Is it just the bumper heigth thats not legal? I saw another forum where a guy had a secondary lower bumper he would bolt on to keep him street legal, then just unbolt it when he went off road kinda neat.

It needs to have a cover. It's considered a bumper support and therefore not legal here in IL

I break enough laws as it is, I don't need to draw more attention to myself by not fixing illegal aspects of my truck that I should.

mine comes to 28" i believe and the legal is 30". made it out of some old rollcage tubing. it bolts and unbolts for the occasion. i dont have anything for the front though. its a work in progress.

That's pretty cool.. Do you have a build thread or something to show how you did it? Or how you bolted it up?

Yea same idea quakershaker but the one I saw was a whole bumper. Amara can you just pin a bumper cover to your existing somehow and be legal?
