Home-Brew Extended Radius Arms?


sweet set of fabbed radius arms, just wondering what set of springs you used? you say on cardomain jeep xj springs but what lift are they rated for on the xjs? thanks

You asking me?

Mine are Skyjacker 6" XJ coils pt# JC-60F. They sit at a little over 16" loaded under my BII, which would translate to a hair over 5" of lift.
 
Another set of extended stock ones.

The tube is 3/16 wall and those are 7/8 shank 2 5/8 ballistic joints.

The is no caster "fix" in them so with 4" lift i have 11 degrees of caster.

Picked up my material yesterday, $23 for 12" of 2.5" 1/4" wall square tubing for making spring pads ($10 because it was receiver hitch stock) and 5' of 2" 1/4" wall square tubing, going Sasquatch ryder style since the recycle yard doesn't get the round tubing often and when they do they don't cut it so I would be stuck with 15' extra...
