Also, just kinda something to get your Brain thinking. Why don't you swap a cobra IRS axle into the ranger? I'm pretty sure the show "Trucks" is doing it on a ranger right now, and it would certainly improve the handling enormously over a SAS. And because it would make it more like a cobra

Not sure what I am going to do with the rear if anything... It would depend alot on the width of the axle... Right now with the 10.5s on the back I don't have room inside or outside the wheelwell.. It would have to be the exact same width.. Plus to tell the truth I am tired of working on it... I just want to drive!!! She handles a lot like a mustang gt now... It has little to no body roll.
I am more interested in better brakes than anything on the rear well the front too.. If I ever get down that way I'll hit you up.. I use to go to the whistle stop buffet all the time and fat people watch... Oh and Wal-Mart right accross the street!!!

Don't most people who really run the Cobras swap a solid axle into them? I Regardless I don't believe that Shelby would have put a IRS into a second gen Ranger at that time.

Beats me... What I would really like to have is a 2 speed axle type thing such as the F600s have.. That would be awesome to split the gears... changing from anything more than a 1 or 2 gen Ranger would be more work than I want to do... I think it would anyway...

We had a great time! Only 1 minor problem with the ole girl.. The AC compressor is stuck on so unplugged the wire from it for now. No burn out yet. However I do have my new Favorite pic of her!
