Here we go...

My materials PVC or ABS tape ( cant remember which) and 3ft collapsed 3in flexy dryer hose

How I started
P1010282.jpg

Stock Airbox
P1010283.jpg

Broke a nut driver trying to break free some bolts

P1010285.jpg

You have to rip off a ton of crap to get the fender off, although I found out later that I didnt really need to remove the Grill
P1010287.jpg

Finaly got the stupid thing off, Ford made some bolt ridiculously hard to get to, I have to tear out the stock intake before I could get to one
P1010288.jpg

So I found out that theres no way to actually get pipe to the inside of the cowel without cutting big holes so I just put the end of the pipe in the top corner of the fender, I also kinda closed it off so mud cant get to the opening

Got the fender back on, much faster than taking it off

This is my block so mud cant get to the intake

DONE

Sorry cant get the vids to up load onto photo bucket but trust me I had water up to the bottom of the grill and I powered through so It works

I'm sorry, but that looks so half assed.

Use ABS and rubber boot connectors to transition from stock air pipe to a snorkel.

i have to agree with tox1k. that could have been done better. i built the same thing you have.

I'm interested in how that tape holds up. Let us know. I give you :icon_thumby: :icon_thumby: for your effort, you have to start somewhere. If it doesn't work so well, you can go to hard line then.

I didnt have tons of time or cash because I have to put some money into my truck and some other crap, I will probably redo It at some point but It worked great yesterday when water was coming over the hood, and It held up great
