race day

Jeepers, that thing is actually kind of neat! I think I'm heading to the Queen Charlotte's this summer (if school schedule allows :shok: ) I'll have to see what I can do about swingin' by and seeing this awesome thing, and yard, of yours! Haha!

come on by...lot's of good camping and fishing, but for anyone into malls, mcdonalds and movie theaters, better stay home.

take a looky at all that sh1t/mud caked on there!

note the ultra rare high input 8.8:D.that's all i can do on it for now-still need to build the master setup that works off the steering so those newly mounted calipers actually do something.
You'll have to let us know how the oiling system on that works! I have a couple of those too, and thought of installing one in my b-II, but wondered about longevity as it gets driven on the road a lot.
Looks like a fun toy:icon_thumby:

oiling isn't a big issue,as this thing only gets used for a couple of minutes once a year.the rest of the time it sits, patiently waiting.and for those that didn't get the joke,it's just a normal 8.8 that's been turned upside down to reverse the rotation for the backward mounted motor.

Precisely why I want to head out that way, so I didn't have to deal with malls etc. :icon_thumby:

And that was kind of a neat idea on the flipped 8.8. Haha!

sunday's the race so times getting real short....unfortunately this is also the busiest time for work for me so i have to sneak time away from my customer's jobs to get this thing done.i said last year i wouln't leave it till the last week, but here i am again.hope to get some vid soon, once i get the controls working better.it's a little scary as it is now.

will this do instead?still need to make ends and paint it.as for the rust, that's brand new metal-it came that way from the supplier....i wasn't too impressed.things can get rusty when they get old, they don't need to be that way when new.
