I'd like to know the durability of that interior paint you used. Makes me wonder if it would crack and peel off the dash in the heat. I'd imagine there's a flex agent in it, no?

It shouldn't crack or peel.. It is the same kind of paint that is on the body cept it has some speacial stuff mixed in for interior panels and no clear coat... I use a scotch bright pad and a product that is like an acid on the pad when I scuff it to shoot.. Then I put adhesion promoter on before the paint.. I have painted many panels in my time and never had one come back for any issues...

Of course since it is my own with my luck it will peel, and crack... usually I use PPG DP epoxy primer before painting but since I used adhesion promotor I didn't... The one good thing is I know the color and can fix anything that gets messed up...
