so im standing at work today, things are pretty slow in the auto parts buissiness, and im wondering why i do this every day and thats when i thought 'hey, i should post and see what everyone else does for money', so here's the post. What do you do for money? (where do you work)

i do any thing and every thing to make a buck, from painting houses to roofing to pluming to fixen boats to worken on a farm. You name it i've prolly done some of it. ODD jobs thats how i've made it through highschool and its putten me through college. The only steady job i have is i work at a dog kennel every sunday for 100 bucks cash. I worked 3rd shift stocker at toys r us for a month and half. But mostly ODD jobs get paid in cash.

i sell car parts right now, before i changed oil at a quick lube, before that i was a fabricator/ welder (for any one familiar with Commerica park, home of the detroit tigers, we built the arches for the stadium), before that i worked for the railroad, and before that i did CAD/CNC programming for a steel company contracted by GM. wow, the older i get (22) the shittier my jobs get =(

I....work at a grocery store for minimum wage, but it goes up to 6.85 this July (as well as everything else will go up).
I am trying to find me another job cause I have sorry workers, that I work with.

Make about 90-140 bucks a week.
Still in HS too.

its tough in high school. i worked at a gun club and a pizza place in high school, then in the last week of school i scored a job with ALRO steel working with CNC oxy/actel torches. good pay and fun job, but they layed me off 2 1/2 years later and never called me back to work.

i cut plexiglas and lexan on a cnc panel saw all day long. when it gets slow i get stuck doing shit work too. i hate it...

I'm intern in the mechanical design engineering department at the local nuclear electricity generating station. When I graduate with my B.S.M.E. degree next fall I will most likely work there full time.
