I'm a 4th year apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanic. I started my apprenticeship a week after high school ended, and never looked back. Being 20 yr's old and making 60k+ a year aint so bad either. I work on wireline and picker trucks for Weatherford Canada, CVIP's, full overhauls, lotsa hydraulic work and full decommissions etc.

that was fun. then once i got my license, i started working for a roofing company, then a construction company, then a custom home builder and then a boat builder. all the while fixing lawn mowers.

now i am trying to scratch some money out by scrapping metal.

I've done warehouse work, Janitorial, and now I work as a mechanic for a local nonprofit agency. Pretty much do oil changes and safety inspections all day, most of them are on the econoline based buses, pretty much all 5.4 powered stuff.

Im an assistant manager at a boat supply store, West Marine, i also do a lot of side jobs. Im in school right now to become a engineer aboard commercial vessels, WooHoo unlimited horsepower rating steam and diesel! And when i graduate is when i start making the bukoo bucks.

I'm an auto mechanics since 8 years now, five days a week, 9 hours a day. i repair cars and trucks from any makes and models from Acura to Volvo. I repair all what can broke on a car, oil change, brake, suspension, electronic, ABS, air bags, etc. It's a hard job, but i like it cuz i don't have to do the same things again and again and again all days long.

i work for 2 firefighter/medics i can honestly say that is the easiest job of all time if your in a good city.
