My 87 Reg Cab Ranger Restore Project....

Good job! I liked the old school 5 Stars on it. The Stang wheels looks good too in keeping the old school look... Sweet ride dude!

Thanks everyone!

I'll be lowering the rear to match the front this week, I'll also be attending Fabulous Fords Forever (At Knotts Berry farm) in Buena Park, CA It's a HUGE ALL-FORD car show, hopefully I do well !

As soon as I get the truck lowered I'll post up pics and I'll be posting up a thread on Fabulous fords Forever as well (It will be over 100 pics for sure!)

Dude Dude DON'T LOWER THE BACK PLZ. The Ranger Looks Awesome. Just
Leave It Alone. Take It From Me Don't Do Anything To It. I had So Much
Problems After I Raised It Up From Lowering It Long Time Ago. After I Raised It Up Found Out I Had To Get Leaf Springs On It & Then The Back Was Too High & Now I Have Put In 3 Weight Sand Bags To Lower It A Little & Have Weight In The Back Too. Thats My Thought.

^^ Too Late....

I just modified the stock shackles....

I drilled the holes 2 inches shorter, the truck rides WAY better and now sits Level, Here is a Pic (It's Raining here right now)

Are those authentic Mustang wheels. If so how did you get the front to fit the hub? I had to use 13mm wheel spacers with longer studs. I knocked out the old studs and had to machine the hub of the rotor down to fit the Mustang rim.

No they are called "Legend 5's" by Vision Wheel, unlike the mustang rims these wheels are MEANT to fit on the ranger I think mustang rims look great on the rangers but I wasn't willing to change the front suspension to make everything work, so I bought wheels that look close enough to the real thing ;)

OK, Just thought I would post up some pics of the truck before I leave to Fabulous Fords Forever, She is all waxed up !!

I think that's the way I'm gonna go with mine also. Truck looks great btw.

beautiful truck

man that is a dead sexy truck! i love those wheels on it:icon_thumby::icon_cheers:

Me likee - that truck looks very fresh and contemporary for being 23 years old. California is a great place to find rust-free iron.

I would hate having to drive a manual from just sound. But still, you probably have the cleanest Ranger I've seen, great job on everything man.
