roughcountry lift good are bad???

thats exactly what i got on my b2. ebay had the best price at the time. alot of ppl say the brackets are underbuild and will bend and break, however i havne't had this problem yet, the 4in lift and 33's is a great combo.

I think there more for a show truck, not meant to take a lot of abuse. They will hold up fine if you want to play in the mud and just look cool with a lifted but there is some flaws. I know the one drop bracket can actually crack open the pumpkin in the front and it could leave ya stranded. Thats my biggest fear right now. Not a lot of clearance with the one bracket.

How exactly does the bracket punch a home in the front diff? Just curious, cause I am also looking for a 4" lift kit, and I have looked at the rough country kit.

roughcountry lift good are bad???

Like I said, its good if your just basically going for looks and do little to no offroading. If you want to do more then just sling mud around tho I would go skyjacker.

i wouldn't go that far, its held up damn well on my rig for over a year. and i'm a bit rough on it!

i am most likey going with jamesduff 5.5 lift for what u get its a good price. 1800.00 puls 200.00 shipping. and they back eveything they sell. i talk to a guy on the ph to day.

just dont bust your self in the face with a chisel trying to take off brakets like my friend haha

i have the rough country 4 inch in my truck on 35's, and its held up well, and i dont exactly go easy on my truck, now that i bought another truck to drive daily and tow my ranger around i just beat on my ranger, ive jumped my truck many times with that lift, smacked it Aagainst rocks and no problems

Not trying to hyjack the thread but how are the rancho 4in kits?

couldnt ANY ttb drop bracket punch through the diff?

hmm, never paid that much attention, that that looks like it had a new/longer pivot point for the passenger beam, verse a drop bracket to relocate the stock pivot piece. makes for more clearance.. smart.
