The census is nothing new and it is used to determine population for representation and aid. Without the census info none of us would have most of the massive highways we use to travel on many times.

The non-obligatory information is used for statistics that help in other ways but you don't have to answer them.

Give me a break the census is a waste of time and money the only way it can be done accurately is to count noses and not all of those noses drive cars. The DMV knows how many drivers there are and they are counting on people not conforming to gain revenue and the information they they get will be used to determine how much more to tax us period. Taxes will go up just as obama promised they would not mark my words. obama hussein is just as bad as saddam hussein he just uses a pen.
