No wonder they said the census was going to cost so much money. First they send you out a notification to watch for it. The next week it arrives. Today I got a follow-up saying "Your response ------is required by law". So if they sent out 250M notifications three times, what's that just in mail cost? I think they were paying some census takers $15/hr, that's probably what it would take to go into some areas.

I'm not saying that I have anything against counting the population. I just have a problem with the 9,000,000 other questions they ask (that you are not required by law to answer despite any pressure to the contrary).

I'm really pissed over the cut the government takes out of my paychecks. Gross pay: $950 - net pay (the amount I actually get to put in my bank) $440.... and no, my tax refund is not pretty... it's only once been above $600. And no, I don't have health insurance. All that goes to taxes and unemployment benefits. There is no reason I should be sending that much to the Washington fat cats so they can fly their private jets around and live in the lap of luxury.

Not to begrudge Pelosi and her entourage their gov't jet,booze costs money on the jet,you have to kick in your share.

Cause my girlfriend opened it up and threw it out not realizing that it was kind of important to at least fill out just how many people were in our house. I used rough numbers... but it is a rather high percentage of my paycheck. A ridiculously high percentage. I'd go find a pay stub but I don't have time to look for one, it's been too long since I last worked.
