im lookin for ideas for my interior, like as in where i could put everything. i have to get a full set of aftermarket gauges, so i was wondering where to put them along with about 6 rocker switches. i want it to look real clean and professional.

so if you have a custom dash setup, any pics would be greatly appreciated.

theres a post on here, i think its in the under consctruction threads, but this dude has a gen 1 on airbags and he made a galaxy dash work in it. all custom welded and stuff..looks way awesome!!

Here's what I ended up with on my Gen-I. Going to be tricky on a Gen-2. But I made this out of a big piece of sheet metal, I spent a lot of time on it. LOL, I am not fabricator by any means, but I think it turned out OK. Want to put some kind of veneer over it that matches the original Gen-I wood. There is a plugged vent, but everything can be put back to stock, gauges are placed out of the way of mounting ears and anything else.

One of the biggest gotchas you'll run into is cutting a perfect hole (a hole cutter for a drill on my press didn't work well at all), and the wiring, and also making it removable so that you don't have to unhook every wire from the gauges to get it out.

Also watch for the hot wire to the cluster, mine was resistor wire and I ran a new wire from my fuse box. You'll definitely need a wiring diagram.

For some reason it looks like you have carpet on the floor still... I'm assuming it's lined or removed right?

And just for curiosity's sake, why did you line all the dash? I can already hit mine with the pressure washer just fine...

You are correct the floor has no carpet, its this plastic/rubber liner which you can cut and customize all you want. I actually purchased the vehicle with the bed liner on and there is a red black color scheme. Ive got racing bucket seats with a 5 point harness in the truck (red and black)
I need to upload more pics of the truck, it has the red bull emblem on the side with a 5 light, light bar with 2 back up lights, custom bumper, 4 inch lift with 31's...
