Woohoo... I just got in my new light bill for the business for the month! Instead of double the normal charge Like I usually use $250 worth of electricity, but the bill is 500$. It now has an extra $25 tax in it making it a $575 light bill from now on. My local government decided they could tax a little extra to make up budget short fall even though the entire county it seemed showed up to protest this...

Gotta love that... wish as a business owner we could get away with crap like that. "hey, our budget is coming up short this month... lets tack an extra $20 fee on everything!"

Yep been in it for over 20 yrs. We are currently using Alpine software and plates right now. Heck, we have used Arce, Trenco, Tee-Lok, Mitek, and now Alpine software! Its come a long ways since when we had to use a HP calculator and a sqaure to determine angles and lenghts for chords and web!

Yeah, sorry for the derailment.

My company is now considering changing to Mitek's new software, Trussframer. I hope they do. I saw a demonstration of it when I was visiting Mitek's canadian headquarters in Toronto, and it looks like a really nice piece of software.
