o shit did i really waste it on that. dam
ok so heres the deal. due to his truck being a gm, it didnt make it to the shop. so we limped it (by this i mean i drove it and the diff locked up every time i stopped due to the pinion jamming into the gears case)
and it was too late to get a diff. however we will try again next weekend. and hopefully then get the 89 home. if the guy who owns it didn't get fed up and haul it away. so.
thats what happened. big waste of time
ok so the plans all rely on what the 89 needs. of its a shit hunk ill scrap it and keep whatevers good, if not ill maybe fix it up. if its a SH like previously mentioned, ill gather parts for a 4x4 swap on mine, startin with an m50 4x4 tranny and tcase to match. i have one scoped out
i'll save for a custom driveshaft and when i can afford it ill swap in the 4x4 tranny. then ill worry about the front diff. as for work thats happening soon, im gettin a new engine for my go cart, and its gonna be cheap. but BIG. i pulled the current motor, so thats gone, gonna get the new motor in soon. gettin it early next week.
its a 15 horse power fist engine from princess auto with a lifetime warrantee and electric start.
i also have some plans for wiring in lights and a winch on it. next step after that will be moddifying the cage, and setting up a new steering system, then suspension will be adressed. maybe before major mods brakes woill be added. still not sure what route im gonna go with those tho...
