Yup, the M4A3 Sherman with the GAA V8 1100 cu. in. 18.0 liter.

Any sherman of the M4A3 variant is a Ford produced tank. The engine is a all aluminum block/heads, dual overhead cam ford v8.

Then engine will be getting pulled. It's got a bad oilpan that needs to be replaced, and the engine compartment is going to get a full restoration.

I believe they measure it in GPM.... gallons per mile :rofl:

Mileage would be about 1.5 gallons per mile. Somewhere around there anyways. It's good for a bout 30mph, or a little faster for a short time. But having over 1000 ft lbs of torque at every rpm, even idling, is pretty awesome.

To buy one, you almost have to know somebody who knows somebody, who happens to know somebody else, who happens to want to sell his. I'm lucky enough to know someone who has a few.

As for prices....you don't even want to know.
