this project been underway for the past year. only recently has the project been put into urgent build because of my car hitting a deer.

so here are some pics of the radius arm mounts. everything is tack weld except for the pipe in the plate has been fully welded in place.

very interested in this build!! what happened next??? im in the same process.

What are the other plans? Interested in steering and crossmembers.

Look forward to this build.

Looking good, did you consider running a steering box inside the frame rail, seams to work a little better in my opinion. Also which ever way you do steering in that area make sure to plate the frame for more strength.

this guy hasnt logged in since 9/30 so

yea... sorry guys. been kinda busy between work and everything. anyway... i had thought about running a gearbox inside the frame, but with the 3.0 in there... there is nowhere near enough room to fit 1. :-(

i'll start snapping and posting up some new pictures. waiting for coil springs to arrive from duff (on monday)!! :-)

its just about ready to hit the road!

yup, we've plated and added extra support all around. the coil & shock bucket is even plated with a 1" thick plate. damn that piece is heavy!

just as fyi, the radius arms will be extended over time. :-) for now it'll run this way, then we'll change that.

but... now for the latest pictures!

i'll snap some pictures of the steering hooked up after we finish welding that up tonight!

Nice... good move on the coils... I regret not going that route :icon_thumby:

have you even wheeled on what you got now?

Build looks good so far, Im a little concerned however with the steeringbox/trac bar mounting. Is that the final product?

that gearbox and track mount are final. curious as to your concerns though.

tracbar is... dom tube.... i think was 1.25" ID, the heim joints were 3/4" (it was kinda.... overkill..... my brother hates me for it... saying it was way more then i needed.. lol)
